Export Access Report to .RTF format problem

I run our church's fundraiser database and have for 3
years. I periodically export the "contributions" report
to a "contributions.rtf" file and email it to the
church so it can be printed in the Sunday church bulletin.

For some reason, when I tried to export the report on
2.15.04, I got the msg " Microsoft Access can't complete
the Output operation", the visual Basic code you entered
contains a syntax error or the output procedures are not
available.

I hadn't make any changes except to add more data to the
underlying table. I don't write code. I don't know what
happened nor how to fix it.

Each year I empty the old data and make a new fundraiser
database. I erased and reinstalled Access 2002 and the
error persisted. I ran the separate fundraiser database
from last year, which worked perfectly last year at
outputting the report to RTF, and I got the same error.

I emailed my fundraiser Access file to a consultant and
the contributions report exported to an .RTF file
perfectly on his machine. Then I completely uninstalled
and reinstalled MS office XP on my desktop machine, but
the same report output error persisted. I Tried
exporting the Access report in other formats but I got
the same error message when I tried exporting to any
format including: .rtf, excel, html. I saved a MS
Wordpad note as an .rtf file, so I know my system can do
it.

So it looks like the problem is not in my fundraiser
database, and it's apparently not in the underlying
Access 2002 engine. Where do you think the problem is,
and how can I fix it?

What can I do??

You could have a corrupted database. Try the
Compact/repair option under tools/Database Utilities.

Have you tried compiling your database.
Go into one of you command buttons and view the code. Try
compiling from there.
If that doesn't work try. (from Joan Wild(MVP)
I suggest you copy the database first.

Try compacting your database using Jetcomp, available at
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=273956

If that fails, try creating a new database and importing
objects from the
old.

If that fails, you can try www.pksolutions.com
