Hello:

I would like to find out how to How to Export a Word Table to Access
Database or Spreadsheet Application.

I read an article about layout converter. I don't seem to have this
converter available. Text format is not read as rows and columns and for each
new value a new field is created.

Can you help?

To convert your table to text: Table|Convert|Table to Text.
Once you have converted your table to text, you can separate your
information by commas and then copy and paste into Excel.

So sorry to barge in here like this, ladies and germs - but I can't for the
life of
me get 'New' question to work. Every other day it's something else. If I take
over a minute to write this post here, I get some kind idiotic 'this page is
unavailable right now' error (time out?) and all my work disappears. When
will
it end? That's why I have to go via the 'Reply' route to this thread -
which is
a bit similar to my own problem.

Is there any way to 'convert', import', 'insert' or 'copy', etc., a
pwerpoint slide
or file or whatever you call it into Word so I can process it in there. I
don't
understand PP and no time now to learn it. Can't get it to work right in
'portrait'
view (need to convert from Landscape view); nor can I get it to work right
with
header/footer (put page no's at bottom) - tho I see them in their 'Notes'
view. Won't print out.

Any quick solutions? I need to urgently process a big .ppt file somebody
sent me.

Thanks in advance,

In PowerPoint, click on File|Send To|Microsoft Office Word and your slide
information will be placed in a Word document and you can then format it any
way you like. I hope this has been helpful to you.

Thank you very much, Ms. Bratt. Didn't think it'd be that straightforward. Will
give it a go shortly. You've saved me from a grueling couple of days of
cutting,
pasting and re-adjusting. Hope you're right.

Thanks again,
