Exporer File Manager and search

Something real wierd began to happen. When I use to right click on the
start button there use to be an explorer option there. Well that is
gone. When I do get explorer opened and I double click on a direcotry
in the right pane, a search window opens up instead of the directory.
Any help would be appreciated.
