I am having a problem and was wondering if anyone has a solution.. every time
I go into a folder that has movies in it... I get a warning saying that
explorer has incountered a problem and has to shut down... I have scaned with
adware, spybot, and nothing.. not sure what else to do... I can go into any
other folder with no problem..

Maybe one or more of the files in that folder is corrupted.

Have you run chkdsk on that drive?

Are these .avi files? If so see if running this edit on Kelly's site helps.

Line 74: AVI Search Remove

See the top of the page for info on running the edit.
