explorer will not go to search engine site

try to go to Google or Ask Jeeves and am directed to
tweakxp.com site that says: "An unknown person has
distributed a malicious program that hijacks the
Windows "hosts" file and redirects all search engine
traffic to http://64.191.59.85. At that web site either
the same person or a different person or possibly another
web site under attack has posted a link to this page
directing users to come here to get help fixing their
computers. The program that is hijacking the "hosts" file
has spread to thousands of users worldwide" solution is
to change delete file host located in c:\windows\system32
\drivers\etc\
Anyone know anything about this?
