explorer vulnerability questions and a easy solution

MA has abandoned us, Rozelle! Woe is us! But, yea, a firewall, virus scanner, safe hex, & full system backup hopefully does it.

Soon, the virus writers will abandon us as well, anyhow!

| Why is it just know being discover since the vulnerability existed all
| the way back to windows 95?
|
| Why is the patch not working on Windows xp?
|
| Why would the have to rebuild windows98se/Me to fix the problem?
|
| Simple solution- block explorer.exe from accessing the web using a
| firewall.
