Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer

The IE cumulative update address several vulnerabilities, 4 of which are rated as critical. The critical patches affect Windows 2000 SP4 with IE5.01 SP4 and IE6 SP1, as well as XPSP2, XPSP3, XPx64 and XPx64 SP2 (IE6)

Ohh... there are 4 optional updates in Windows Update too, one of which is "Windows Tinker" :lol: No idea what it does, but I'll find out in a few minutes!

ah, that because you have "Ultimate" and Tinker is one of your, not-to-be-had-by-just-anyone useless freebies.

PC crashed once whilst downloading the updates, but thats better than normal for my chimp built pc!

I have Vista on auto so it looks as though I already have that lot, on this machine anyway.

Only optional extra update is Silverlight, whatever that is. Sounds like some bug running round the bath to me :eek:
