Explorer restarts.

I upgraded to SP2, on Xp Pro, now when I try to start windows explorer, the
explorer.exe restarts. This is on a K8V-X Motherboard with Athlon64 3000 cpu.

I have the same problem, it's been going on for more than a year. I'm
stumped! Can anybody provide useful information?

The Event viewer says: The shell stopped unexpectedly and Explorer.exe was
restarted....and nothing more (except sending an error report to Microsoft).
