explorer media previews

is there any way to turn off audio/video previews in
explorer without switching to classic view? I want the web-
view enabled, I just do not want the preview thing loading
when I click on any media (audio, video)... I still want
it to show previews of my images (.jpg, .gif) but not any
audio... there has to be an option somewhere to turn off
JUST the audio/video preview part of it... i am tired of
that loading and making my computer lag

I have the same problem, no one seems to know how except
(maybe) Microsoft.
