explorer keeps closing down.

When I click on My Computer then click on a drive Explorer shuts down
and asks to send an error report. However, when I repeat the
proceedure afterwards it all works fine. What is Explorer's problem?

I trust you have done a disc clean up and scanned for virus an
spyware

Go to Control Panel, click Perf. Maintenance/click Admin. Tools/Clic
Event Viewer to open...... these are log file's and may safely b
copied, deleted or printed or transfered to a folder for exporting

Click Applications and Systems (not really interested in Security lo
here) and you should see an error log created, clicking the error lo
and clicking properties should land you in a new window telling yo
all about the error code

This should help provide a clue

Unfortunately, and by design I believe, Windows Explorer almost NEVER
leaves any hint in the event system of why it crashed and restarted.
In fact it often tries to hide the fact that it crashes and restarts.

But a miracle might happen.

Not sure what this means but after Explorer shuts down my internet
browser and email are doubled-up in the start menu.
