Probably you can use WindowsPE or 3rd party PE to boot up the system via CD
and do a virus scanning. Then it can get rid of executing the explorer
instance with problem.

Hi,

Recently had an issue where Explorer stopped and then restarted after a few
seconds. Since then tasks scheduled by other applications such as AV and
Backup programs are either not running or starting at a differnt time. Any
ideas anyone?
