explorer.exe trouble

Please help me. I have windows vista x86 installed. After 20 to 30
minutes on, the windows and tool bar seems to be erratic, for example
the tool bar supossed to be in the lower part is on the top
The problem can be solved only reinitiating the process explorer.exe,
and then all seems to be ok for another 30 minutes, then the problem
comes again.

Is this a problem caused by a incompatible installed software? a
virus? i have AVG professional installed and it doesnt detect anything

please help me, i have already installed it two times a nd the problem
is still here.

This is a Windows XP group, not a Vista group.
