Hello.
I'm using "file Monitor" from "sysinternals" to monitor file activity
because my network is somewhat slow.
I see that explorer.exe:484 is constantly reading upnp.dll
I used "Universal Plug & Play Enable/Disable" from "Gibson Research Corp" to
disable the universal upnp but still explorer constantly read upnp.dll.
Is this normal?
Thanks

By the way...
I have a gigabit lan and I have a pc that serves has a fileserver with a
250G RAID1 with thousands of files.
If I use explorer remotly to access this drive it is terribly slower than
accessing localy.
Is this normal?? Shouldn't the disk access be the bothleneck when using a
gigabit lan??
By the way also...this fileserver machine doesn't have the constant access
to upnp.dll!?
Any tips??
Thanks again

Ok....needed a reboot :-S Access to upnp has gone!
Althought there is strange behaviour in this network.
For instance...discreet combustion will take forever to open files in
fileserver throught the network.
Anything I could check?
Thanks
