Hello Group:
Win 2k Pro/sp4
When I go to start and click "programs" I get the following message:
Explorer.exe Application Error
The instruction at "0x77fccdee" referenced memory at "0x0010048". The
memory could not be read. Click on OK to terminate the program.
I tried the method suggested by George Hester in an earlier reply:
Delete the "value" of this registry key
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.xml\ShellEx\{BB2E617C-0920-11d1-9A0B-00C04FC2D6C1}
This did not correct the problem. Any advice would be greatly
appreciated. I have a ghost backup, so it wouldn't be tragic to
restore the boot drive. But a simpler solution would be preferable.
Thanks.
John
