Keep getting error message as follows and I am not even using Internet
explorer or windows explorer...see message:

Explorer....This program has performed an illegal operation and will
shut down. Details are, Explorer caused an exception at 6d007fh in
module webcheck.dll at 015f:78b32599.

Have tried all the fixes like wsshedder, unchecking 3rd party
extensions, used adware. etc. If anyone can help beyond these efforts
please advise.

I have two versions of webcheck.dll, one in win/sys ver. 4.72.3110.0 dated
May 11, 1998
the other in win/vcm ver. 6.00.2800.1106 dated Jan 3, 2004 . I am
currently running IE ver.6.0.2800.1106 in Windows 98 second version. Should
I just delete one version, or uninstall IE 6 and go back to using IE 5?
