explorer crashes

Hi,
I have windows XP pro on my dell laptop. Nearly everytime
I startup and try to open an application explorer
crashes. I get the following error message:

Faulting application explorer.exe, version 6.0.2800.1221,
faulting module wininet.dll, version 6.0.2800.1106, fault
address 0x0001dc15.

Can anyone help???

Hi,

Did you get any help on this? I am having the same issue.
Also, when using explorer and double clicking on any
office document, problem happens. Much appreciated.
