explorer causes errors in MSVBVM60.DLL

sometimes when i go to certain sites, like my hotmail mail
page... this message comes up "explorer has caused an
error in MSVBVM60.DLL explorer will now close. if you
continue to experience problems, try restarting your
computer" i dont know what its all about, and i can never
chekc my email because i have to close the page before i
get to it... the same error message comes up on other
pages too
