explorer 6 upgrade problem sdhelper

Hello,
I downloaded the IExplorer 6 upgrade and loaded it on my Win '98 machine. Now, when I try to connect to the internet, I get a message that IExplorer has encountered a problem and must close. When I look at the details, it lists a MODNAME as SDHELPER.DLL. I can not get beyond this point. I am by no means an expert user of any kind, and would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!
 
SDHELPER.DLL = Spybot - Search & Destroy http://spybot.eon.net.au/
Remove and re install.
