Explorer 6.0 Freezing

When I click on and open PDF files through Internet
Explorer, my Explorer app freezes after I close the PDF.

Is there a way to prevent this?

In order to close explorer and reopen it I have to ctr-
alt-del and close the Internet Exporer which is "not
responding"
