Explore poping up when compyter frist boots up

Windoes Explore (file directory) has suddenly started popping up when turn on
my computer - thought it might be a virsus - but have no idea on how to stop.
It just started doing this. Help!
 
seems to me like Adware, try booting in safe mode and run either Adaware 6.0
from lavasoft or another reliable spyware nuker...
