Explore encountered problem

I have been recieving this message every time I log on to my computer
"Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry
for the inconvenience." Has anyone got any ideas how I can stop this from
happening
 
Look for possible causes in Event Viewer. Open the Help and Support Center
and see: Using Event Viewer.
 
I did that, but what do I do with it. It says it's an application error. How
can I find out which app it is and fix it?
