Exploit-ByteVerify and JV/Shinwow - HELP

J

Julie

I got a virus. I ran Norton Live Update and it detected
two files which it quarantined - the file names were
parser.class and dummy.class. I then deleted the files
(not through Norton - said I could not delete or repair).
Problem persisted. I ran a McAfee scan and Exploit-
ByteVerify and JV/Shinwow were the viruses detected. I
ran Norton AV in safe mode and it did not detect any
virus. I cannot get into My Computer or folders placed on
my desktop. Does anyone know of a software program that
will remove these viruses? I can't get my pictures onto a
CD to reformat. I don't have access to my CD-ROM drive.

There is a very helpful virus removal newsgroup you may wish to post to:
