Occasionally I get a Notice that such and such a number of error has
occurred. Where do I find wider explanation of what the error is and how to
correct it. My OS is Win.Vista.

Knowing which program is giving these errors may help. You post is a

little vague, and provides no clues. The next time this happens, try
taking a screenshot and posting it here. Perhaps then we can help more
fully.

Windows Help is a little vague and provides no clues. I don't see why
his post should be any different.

Hi, Thank you for the answer. However the definition I get does not give me
a route to a solution. e.g. Error 1719 just gives examples of parts of the
Notice I get i.e. "The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed", but
how do I correct this fault, which prevents me from installing properly a
Scanner? Over to you.
