Expires July 2005 message

my spyware will not run...it says my version expired july
31 2005 and to please contact microsoft...what the heck
is going on? anyone?

You've changed the date format for your locale from the default. If you
change it back, it should work properly.

In XP, this is control panel, date, time, language, and regional options,
Regional options.

As far as I can see in each drop down format box, the default is the first
choice.

Check how your time/zone information is displayed and whether you are using
the US-EN version of your OS. This beta is for the US-EN versions of
2000/XP so any other version would possibly cause your timestamp to be read
incorrectly. Changeing the way it is displayed could possibly affect it as
well but I'm not as sure of that.

Great--localization issues such as this are on the list for fixing, along
with the numerous spelling or grammar issues, and Accessibility.
