Expired trial version now what?

My trial version of Word 2003 has expired an my PC is XP operated.So I can't
use my Word because it's inactive and displays "the document is locked
message" So what do I do to convert back to XP Word
 
I would guess that you use Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs to uninstall
the trial version. Then reinstall Office XP from your original CDs.
