Dear all,

One of my XP pro sp2 client pc keeps disconnect from the server or shared
resources, I have disabled the power management feature from device manager
to this device but still doing the same. I cannot suspect cable or other
server issue because from the same station we were using win2k without any
single issue. Needless to say all the drivers are MS certified...

I have checked my server, the auto disconnect feature was disabled. I don't
know what to do now, there is no disconnect icon (marked with red color)
shows on the cleint XPsp2. I have two shared
printer, when I clinck to check the status it says access denied, all I have
to do go network places, double click and log with administrator then the
printer status shows "ready".

pls help me
Regards

And how is this network made up?

Do you have routers, switches, Cable Router, Wireless or whatever?

Is the PC setup to go into a standby state after xx minutes, or suspend HDD
power?

Dear,
we have about 35 users and tw switches crosslinked to each other. I have
made a comment on that - I cannot suspect that - from the same station I was
using a win2k machine and worked without any single error.
There is power save disabled and the period is not exact.

pls can u help me?

Regards
Anver
