Expansion pack plan for Half Life!

There was something about it one of my magazines a few months back, apperently you will be playing as Alyx, it will use the same gfx engine, and you will get a nifty gun that you can upgrade.

I noticed there's an extension pack for Doom 3 out now, saw it in Game but it costs thirty quid.

That's a bit steep for an add-on, in my opinion

Anybody tried it yet?

Can't wait, HL2 felt very unfinished/unconcluded. Props to valve for not trying to make money out of this, i just hope it's upto standard.

I wouldnt bother, i dont know why i rated Doom 3 so high in my review when i done it. Most likely because i'd never seen graphics like that .

The expansion pack is just going to be more of the same for Doom 3 , go into a room, moster appears, get scared, kill him, move onto next room, monster appears, get scared, kill him etc etc etc for 20 hours.
