I'm running windows 2000 advance server on a dual PIII server. I have 4gb hardidrvie but only C:\ ( which the OS is install on) set to 2 GB. Is there a program with the OS ( like computer mangement) or a free utility to help with expanding the partition or merging it with another partition drive

thanks in advanc

I feel your pain

There is no utility in Windows
There are some programs out there, but Server versions cost a lot :

e.g. Symantec VolumeManager (http://enterprisesecurity.symantec.com/products/products.cfm?ProductID=345&EID=0

Enter "resize partition" or "merge partition" in Search windows of your browser to see more examples

None of them guaranties data safety
Make sure you are getting a version of the program for Windows Server, not Workstation

Try Acronis PartitionExpert. It works very well, and is aggressively priced.
