Expanding menu in Office 2003

Hi all,

Can someone please tell me how I can expand the menus in Office 2003
permanently? I just can't find the setting anywhere.

In each Office application, right-click the toolbar area and choose
customize. Place a check mark in the "Always show full menus" option.

I'm not quite sure I understand you, but if you mean you want to disable
the Personalized Menus (or whatever they call those foul little arrows
that only show you recently used entries), go to Tools>Customize and
there is a place to check "always show full menus". The wording may be
a little different (I don't have MS Word on this machine to check for
you) but that is basically the place. The tricksy bit is that this
option isn't under Tools>Options where you would expect it to be.
