Expand/Contract grouped columns in protected sheet

I´m trying to protect a sheet that has a pivottable with groupe
columns.
The problem is , after protecting the sheet , I can´t expand/contrac
the table.
I get an error saying that I can´t use that command because it´s
protected sheet.

Is there anyway around this? I.E. How can I protect a sheet, and stil
expand/contract a pivottabl
 
Hi
depending on your Excel version you can allow editing object and
grouping/ungrouping in the Protection dialog
