Exiting Outlook

J

John

Hi all.
I'm using WinXP Pro and Outlook 2003.
I'm trying to exit Outlook 2003. It however always
minimises to the task bar. No matter if I select "Hide
when minimised" on the task bar icon or not, the icon is
always there. I can confirm Outlook is runing by looking
at the processes after hitting CTRL-ALT-DEL (but I can't
get it to "open outlook" from the task bar icon...).
Apart from going into CTRL-ALT-DEL and stopping the
process, how can I exit Outlook and have it completely
stop - not just minimise?

Thanks.

Are you running any software that integrates with Outlook? Virusscanners,
Synchronisation software, WinFax, etc... These applications keep Outlook
open. If you close the Outlook will close as well.
