.exe's are suddenly "not valid win32 applications"

I am opperating XP home and all of the sudden my computer
is telling me that my .exe files are "not valid win32
applications". Does anyone know what happened or what I
can do to fix this. Thank You.

Try the .exe file association fix on this site.

Click on Win XP Fixes on the left side, then File Association Fixes,
then EXE File Association Fix.
