Hi ,
I'm new to vb. Is it possible to convert your program into a platform
independent program. I don't mean Win32 Executables. But it should run on
any o/s.
Linux, Windows, Unix.

I have come across some programs which work like that.

You've probably asked in the wrong newsgroup. This newsgroup is for
questions about Access, the database product that's part of Office
Professional.

VB had no way to do what you want, and I don't believe VB.Net has that
capability either.

from what i understand you need the Office Access Developers Extentions

Sorry I didnt read your question correctly. you are looking for something
that will compile to all platforms or something like java or flash.... I
think you will be looking for a long time maybe you could look a delphi it
might beable to port VB
