exe files not responding

Hi

adaware just informed me that something wanted to change a protected file.
So I checked the block option, and I was suprised that it blocked about 12
actions. after that my exe files would not respond. I've ran a few virus
scans but nothing is showing.
How can I re-associate all my exe files with their programs?

Hello p.mc

Firstly, do you mean shortcuts when you say .exe file? If so, just re-create
the shortcut...

One thing you could try is restoring back to a time before you had to block
said program. Use System Restore.

What were you doing when AdAware wanted to block the change?

Thanks,

Sinbad

I beleive AdAware has a 'restore' or 'undo' function. Read their help
file.
Make sure that the exe files you want to re-associate are not malware
executables.
