Exclusive mode

I'm trying to open an Access Database in exclusive mode but get the pop up
that says "already opened exclusivley" and it shows the system name that has
it open. When I looked up who's system that was that already had it open is
was mine. I didnt have it open previous to trying to open it exclusivley. How
can that be??

Close the database and then delete a file of the same name with .ldb
extention.

I tried that but it said file in use also : (

You may have to reboot to release the hold on the ldb.
