Excite.com is my home page. I cannot access it. I can access all other
urls. What have I done to my computer?

Hello...

Renaming the host file may help in resolving the issue.

Search for the file named "hosts" (just hosts..coz u have
2 or 3 hosts files with extensions)
Rename it to hosts.old
Restart the system.
Try accessing the excite.com site

Carl is not the only one unable to access excite.com today.
The site was unavailable for most of the day, but is back online now.
