Exchange server

I use a VPN from home over DSL. I get a message "Network problems are
preventing connection to the MIcrosoft exchange server computer"

I can receive, but not send.

When in the office and on the network no problems at all.
 
Network connectivity problems could be caused by name resolution issues
(DNS/WINS) or other reasons (e.g. firewall between VPN server and Exchange
and or domain controllers that is blocking communications). Have you tried
working this out with the folks that offer the VPN connection?
