Exchange Server 2003 with outlook 2000

We are now do the testing for exchange 2003. We are running outlook 2000
with sp3 as client. When we click check-name, it
returned "name cannot be resolved".

However, we can use Outlook XP to connect exchange 2003 including check
name, open, send and receive email. Does it any difference between Outlook
2000 and Outlook XP's connectivity?

Any service missing in exchange 2003 or any patches need to instal to
outlook 2000.

are you adding the NetBIOS name in the server field? try the FQDN. Or use a
hosts.
