exchange french version of Windows xp to english version

Recently I bought a computer with windows xp home edition in french. Even
though I specifically asked them for an english version. Anyways, they do
not want to exchange it. So is there any ways to echange it?

Return the entire computer for a refund from the company
you purchased it from, then reorder another computer with
the proper language version of Windows XP you desire.

Not from microsoft. Return it to the vendor or purchase a copy XP in
English and do a clean install. You can't do an upgrade from one
language version to another.
