French to English OS (XP)

Q

QUEBEC 1

Just recently purchased a new PC in Montreal for the
French-Canadian in-laws. The OS is in French. Although
French is his mother-tongue, the F.I.L. wants the English
version of XP, instead of the Quebecois version.

Other than replacing the OS with an English version, is
there any other way to exchange the French menus for the
English menus? I would assume that the answer is no, but
wanted to ask anyway.

Thank you.

Hi

The answer is no. An English version would have to be purchased. You can
then either dual-boot or reformat and install the English version.

Hello
You are assuming right, you will have to purchase and install the language
preferred.

Nope, you have to buy an English version and do a clean install.
English is better than French anyway
