Exchange Contact not recognised in Outlook

Sheila

Running MS Exchange Server 2003, and Outlook 2003. I created a Distribution
List in Server Mgmnt that included one Contact with an "outside" email
address as well as three Exchange email addressees. When I mail to the
Distribution List, the message goes to the three Exchange addressees, but is
determined as "Undeliverable" to the Contact addressee, with no real
suggestion as to why. I've tested the email address in question, and I can
successfully send a message to it as long as it is not part of the
Distribution List.

I must be missing something somewhere, but can't find where. There was no
error when setting up the Contact or from within Exchange Server Mgmnt. I'd
appreciate any direction to help resolve this.

Thank you.

Since this sounds like you're performing a server-side operation, the
correct newsgroup might be microsoft.public.exchange.admin
