Exchange Admin permissions

Can someone please tell me if the Exchange Administrator
account for Exchange 2000 MUST be a member of the
Enterprise Admins group in AD in order for Exchange 2000
to function properly? If not, what other reason might
there be to have the Exchange Administrator as a member of
Enterprise Admins group?

I don't know but would be surprised if that was the case. There are several Exchange
2000 newsgroups where you may also want to post in. --- Steve
