excessive I/O reads

Cannot stop the excessive use of Outlook 2003 CPU time. Hovers around 70%
for Outlook. I/O reads are huge and memory usage keeps growing. ? ? ? Once
in a while is drops to 4-8 %?
 
I am not sure how to get that info for you? I think it is. On the Task
Manager performance screen (the graphical presentation) the graph line is
constant at 70-90 % utilization.
 
I am having the same issue with a 30 min send/recieve. Outlook and Explorer
take ~805 of the CPU every 10 seconds.
