Exception Breakpoint - UPnP Framework

Recently bought new computer with Windows XP. Keep getting an Exception Breakpoint error popping up in a dialogue box and it says "UPnP Framework has encountered a problem and needs to close". Anyone have any suggestions what this is and what I can do about it?
 
One suggestion would be to disable the upnp service which is recommended for
security reasons. Don't know why the error, though.
 
Go to control panel..administrative tools..services and scroll down to
the service..double click it and in the drop down box choose disable.
