Excell copy action pauses for 15 second for the smallest action

Using Windows 7 and Office Standard 2007- Excell pauses after a copy or
paste action regardless of size of spread sheet.

Just a guess...

Try changing to a different printer/printer driver. (The printer doesn't have
to physically exist.)
