Excel2003 Has No Column Indicators on Slider

Something that I found very helpful when I was using Excel
2002 was that the horizontal scrolling slider pointer had a
popup indicater showing the column letter as long as the
cursor was touching the slider pointer. In Excel 2003,
there is no column indicator. Anyone else notice that? If
I'm suppose to do something to enable it, what am I
supposed to do?

I believe Excel 2002 and 2003 have the same behavior. In Excel 2000
dragging the workbook window scrollbars did produce a popup that showed the
current row or column. It isn't needed in the newer versions because the
worksheet scrolls real-time with the scroll bars, so you can see where you
are. In earlier Excels the worksheet did not scroll until the mouse button
was released.
