Would this do? In C1 type:
=A1/B1
For a ratio of the content of the A1 cell over the B1 cell.

Is that what you are looking for?

Make sure you have the Anaysis Toolpak Add-in installed

=A1/GCD(A1,B1)&":"&B1/GCD(A1,B1)
