excel/word

I am writing a book & wrote the first 100 pages or so in
excel. Then I decided I should have done it in word. So I
created a new word document & cut & pasted it over.
However, because each new line is in a seperate cell
altering any of it in word is impossible.

I guess the question is. Can the excel cell "thing" be
deleted now that it is in word?

Do this against a copy of the Word file:

Select your table
Table|Convert|table to text
There are some options there that you might have to play with to get it nice.

If that doesn't get close, maybe you can paste it into Notepad. Then copy|paste
right back to word.

And it might even be easier to do some manipulation back in excel. (combine
cells kind of thing)
