Excel to PDF

Hi there:
I have been trying to find a way to save a .xls workbook to a .pdf file.
Does anyone know if this is possible through vba / macro.
I know there are a number of products out there, but was trying to avoid the
purchase and code around it if possible.

Any suggestions appreciated,

If you are using excel 2007, you can download the add in for this from
Microsoft website.

I have had success with the free file downloads and instructions for use here
at Dale Nurden's site.

Saves first to single *.ps file which is then converted to *.pdf

Returns one PDF file from multiple sheets.

Others have reported that PrimoPDF does a good job and is free.

Thanks Gord.
I am running with xls 2000.
Have you found any success in batch converting multiple files or lets say a
folder of files from xls to pdf?
Ultimately that what I am trying to get to.
