Excel text formula trouble

Hi everybody,
I'm newbie working with excel and I have a trouble of this type:
I have an excel document with 2 sheets: a DATA sheet and a RESULTS sheet
In the first sheet (DATA), there are 3 merged cells N1, N2, N3, which will
contain the text. In the second tab (RESULTS) should ensure that appear in
cell A5 as written in the merged cells of the previous sheets.
If write = 'DATA'! N1: N3 in A5 RESULTS cell, I get an error in the formula.
Can anybody help me? Please... Thank in advance anybody...
